Florida Beach Wedding Ceremonies

Florida and Alabama Beach Weddings

Couples across the globe are skipping the traditional church wedding in their home towns in return for a romantic rendezvous at a far away beach. Weddings at a fun, romantic location are called destination weddings. All traditional ceremonies away from home are becoming so popular that many wedding coordinators are making plans that go into next year. Wedding party vendors are popping up in far off places like Florida and Alabama. The most popular cities are: Destin,Panama City,Pensacola,Miami,Fort Lauderdale, Orange Beach and Gulf Shores.

Before booking your marriage ceremony, you should consider a few things. First, will everyone you care about be able to make the long trip? Is the cost involved going to be a difficulty for your wedding party or guests? What location would be ideal for your upcoming ceremony? How do you book a reservation for an out of State wedding? These considerations must be made before you decide on a location.

One of the more popular destinations for an out of State wedding is a romantic beach getaway. Perhaps many couples choose a Florida beach wedding because of the romance and ambiance natural to the setting. Maybe the bride has dreamed of being married in the sand, with the sound of the waves behind her. Whatever the reason, resorts in Florida and Alabama have a wedding package for you. Other romantic destinations, almost all have bridal chapels, coordinators, party vendors, and wedding planning services. Brides and grooms love a romantic beach for a destination wedding,The cost is rather inexpensive and is becoming one of the easiest ways to plan the perfect ceremony.

Does anyone know of a nice wedding location in the south florida area (Broward, Miami, Palm Beach) ?

I am looking for a wedding location to have my ceremony & reception. Anywhere in Miami, Broward, or Palm Beach county would be fine. I need a place that is less than $1,000 and that can hold up to 60 guests….. When I say $1,000 or less I mean for the rental of the location itself, not the whole wedding (although that would be nice) Any suggestions ???

I don’t know of anything specific but try http://www.eventective.com/. Make sure you do the advanced search. It helped me lot in my search. Good Luck!

Which club, which night for Miami 3/19-3/22/08?

My husband and I are 30 and going to South Beach starting Wed, 3/19, leaving Sat, 3/22. We aren’t sure which club to go to which night.

We are thinking of going to the following: Mansion, Cameo, BED, Sky Bar, Opium Garden, and/or possibly Rok Bar. We definately want to go to Mansion, but aren’t sure if International Wednesdays or Hip Hop Fridays would be best. Here is my rough itinerary:

Wed: Mansion or Sky Bar and Rok or BED
Thu: Cameo
Fri: Mansion or Opium Garden

Any advice on what club on what night or what to hit and what to skip is greatly appreciated. Also, I’ve read a lot on how one should dress. Is it ok for a woman to wear nice jeans and a nice top with heels, and for a guy to wear jeans and a button up shirt? I see a lot of pics of people in jeans at these clubs, but then read things like “never wear jeans to Miami clubs.” Confusing! Thanks.

You should keep in mind that the Winter Music Conference is the week after you are going to be in Miami. Last year there were some pretty big international DJ’s that came early and were booked at the major clubs on South Beach, so if you like electronic dance music, you will have some great choices, if not, then ask around, cause you may have just as fun at someplace that isn’t as “scene-ish” like Shine at the Shelborne.

Bed is usually a Monday night place. I would also look into Prive, Suite, and Set. The same people manage Opium, Set, Mansion, and Prive (which seems to be what you are looking for)- so usually all 4 aren’t going off at the same time, but maybe with the WMC people arriving into town they will be…not sure on that one.

If it is more for the typical beach hotel bar you are looking into, the Delano is gorgeous, and I like it more than SkyBar at the Shore Club (but they are next to each other)

What you are planning on wearing sounds good. No sneakers. Keep in mind that most clubs in Miami get going at 1:00, sometimes 12:00, so if you are going to the place that is hot for the night, get there early, or you are going to spend a lot of time hanging outside enjoying the fabulous weather Miami has to offer at night at 2:00am. Unfortunately the bouncers don’t like to let in guys who aren’t getting bottle service.
