What should a female wear to a ‘South Beach’ theme wedding reception?
We are in New England. My date is friends with the groom and is bringing his 3 children. The couple eloped several months ago, this is the celebration party. It’s tonight, and the weather is gray/rainy. I don’t have a lot of clothing to work with, so color and style suggestions are helpful.
Even though it’s rainy, it shouldn’t stop you from wearing come color. You can always wear a trench coat to keep you from getting wet.
-Look at your local department store for dresses with floral designs in yellow, pink, purple, any bright summer color. When I think South Beach, I think color.
-A low heel with a jeweled design or gladiator inspired sandal are very popular at this time.
-Keep your jewelry simple since you are probably going to be purchasing a bright loud dress. Small CZ or diamond earrings that you all ready have, small necklace or pendent, etc.
