Beach Wedding East Coast

Malibu isn’t just a beach; it’s practically a whole coastline. Stretching for roughly 27 miles, Malibu comprises about a dozen beaches from Decker Rd. (Hwy. 23) in the west, to Topanga Canyon Blvd. in the east. At this part of the California coast, the beaches face mostly rather than west, except for Westward Beach near Pt. Dume.

The Malibu beaches lie along the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, which are so often subjected to the vicious circle of fires, floods and mudslides. The Pacific Coast Highway, or PCH, is squeezed between the beach and the cliffs much of the way. The ocean side is lined with highway hugging houses of the mostly rich and/or famous.

The beaches themselves range from wide and sandy to so narrow that the waterline comes up directly under someone’s deck. Rocky coves and tide pools are also plentiful.

Malibu itself does not have a cohesive downtown section. Restaurants are spread out, as are a few shopping centers sprinkled with chain stores mixed with specialty shops. Residential sections vary from small, crowded beachfront houses to mountaintop mansions.

GETTING TO MALIBU BEACH CALIFORNIA

You can take the I-10 west through Santa Monica, then veer north onto PCH (Hwy 1) as it hits the coast. Keep driving, and you’ll soon be in Malibu.

Alternatively, from Highway 101 in the San Fernando Valley, you can take a 15-20 minute winding drive through the Santa Monica Mountains along Topanga Canyon Blvd., Malibu Canyon Rd. (Los Virgenes exit), Kanan Dume Rd., or Decker Road. All of these drop down into some part of the Malibu coast, with Malibu Canyon Road taking you the closest to the pier, lagoon, Surfrider Beach and shopping areas.

THE MALIBU BEACHES

Starting at the Ventura County line and heading east towards Santa Monica, there’s Leo Carrillo State Beach, which has camping, tide pools, trails and interesting rock formations. Then comes Nicholas Canyon County Beach, where you park on the bluff and hike down to surf or dive.

The next three beaches are scenic coves with more unusual rock formations. El Pescador State Beach at the end of Decker Rd. has a narrow sandy beach and picnic tables on the bluff above. La Piedra State Beach is similar, only further east.

El Matador State Beach is larger, with a larger pay parking lot and a trail and stairway down to the beach. It also has stunning sea stacks, which attract cormorants and other sea birds.

Broad Beach Road goes through a residential neighborhood between Pacific Coast Highway and the beach. there are a couple of beach access points that go between the houses. You can enjoy the beach at the end of the path or steps, but be careful not to trespass onto private property.

In marked contrast, Zuma Beach County Park is a wide sandy beach with lots of facilities, including restrooms, showers, dressing rooms, snack stands, volleyball, swings and a large pay parking lot.

Point Dume State Beach is next to the Point Dume Headlands, which has some trails. The beach has tide pools and sandstone cliffs. Westward Beach is the section towards the Point, which faces west.

Paradise Cove is a small but lovely beach with expensive parking. No surfing is allowed. Escondido Beach can be found near Malibu Cove Colony Drive. The access point is next to a blue and white trash can. This is a diving spot. Corral State Beach/Solstice Beach is a narrow sandy beach with street parking.

Where Malibu Road veers off PCH through another neighborhood, there are several public stairways next to telltale blue and white trash cans. These paths or stairways go between private homes, so take care not to disturb the residents or trespass. Once on the beach, you must stay a certain distance away from the rear of the houses; below the high tide line should be safe enough.

Malibu Bluffs County Park is off of Pacific Coast Highway, at the end of Malibu Canyon Road, across from Pepperdine University. While not a beach itself, you can park there, use the restrooms and hike down a one and a half mile trail down through the bluffs with magnificent views to Malibu Road and the beach access points mentioned previously. Exhilarating! (But don’t forget you have to hike back

up later.)

Malibu Lagoon State Beach bears an estuary, the Malibu Lagoon, the historic Adamson House and museum, the Malibu Pier, and popular Surfrider Beach which has great waves for surfing.

East of the pier along PCH, are more public stairways to the beach between houses, marked by the blue and white trash cans. Las Tunas State Beach is narrow, sandy and rocky in places. Be careful of rusted metal groins under the water if you swim there.

Topanga State Beach lies at the end of Topanga Canyon Boulevard. It is a narrow sandy beach with rocky parts. There is a pay parking lot, but people also park up along Topanga Canyon Boulevard.

Malibu is a beautiful place to visit and is sure to have a beach to suit just about everyone.

Florida Beach Weddings Packages

A dazzling sunshine, glittering white sand, a salty breeze, aquamarine heaving under the sky, the warmth of that special someone beside you and holding your hand – who wouldn’t want to prolong this heavenly moment till eternity?

This is the beauty of the Beaches in Florida. Anyone coming to this place for the first time would agree that this is truly the embodiment of paradise – the perfect venue for some quality time together with one’s ‘significant other’. Best of all, Florida beaches can let one immortalize one’s special moments through the ultimate memoranda – Florida beach weddings. Whether one is a guest or one is about to tie the knot, Florida beach weddings are occasions to rejoice and remember.

‘Romantic’ simply defines Florida beach weddings. Over the past few decades, wedding ceremonies have become increasingly less traditional. Resort weddings have become increasingly popular as a direct result. Not only do such weddings reduce the pains encountered by the hosting couples, in order to entertain the guests and for nuptial arrangements, but they also allow couples to enjoy the wedding, for a change. Such moments, once lost, can never be regained.

Florida beach weddings, hosted under the open sky and in the presence of the earth and the ocean as witnesses, let everyone present at the wedding – young or old – indulge in the romantic atmosphere.

There are several locations at Florida beaches that host wedding ceremonies. Even though beach weddings have the air of resort weddings, they are carried out with all the traditional rites and rituals. Several wedding packages are provided making the affair affordable and at the same time, enjoyable.

Having a wedding at one of the most beautiful beaches in the world is one of the best things a couple can dream of. Florida beach weddings bring this dream to life. The passion of open air mingled with the beauty of nature makes these weddings what weddings should ideally be like – escapes from mundane reality into the world where only dreams thrive.

Even residents of Europe are allowed to host Florida beach weddings. Acquiring a marriage license from the courthouse needs to be complemented by an Apostille for most countries. However, this affair is not at all bothersome and never disrupts the spirit of the wedding.

Wedding worth remembering, Florida beach weddings are occasions never to be forgotten.

Florida Beach Wedding?

I’m looking for a place in Florida (probably southern, not sure yet) that has weddings on the beach, without all the bells and whistles? I’m just looking for a hotel/resort that has affordable rooms with a wedding package that isn’t thousands of dollars? I don’t need a cake and a reception, and all that other stuff. I also want to be about to invite 10-30 people.

Thank you!

Clearwater Beach and Sand Key are some of the best beaches on the West Coast of Fl. There are plenty of venues on or near the beach with lots of options. Many open public beaches, some island beaches, some private venues with private beach area. Get in touch with Chamber of Commerce for info. The costs would vary depending on what you decide is important to you and your budget. Trade Winds, Sheraton Sand Key, Biltmore, Don Cesar are biggest and probably most expensive. But they have options. Also many other venues including Shepards, Double Tree, all directly on the beach.

C’mon down, the water is great!

Congrats!

A woman wrote a message of “I Love You” on a piece of paper and put it in a glass bottle, she threw the bottle to the sea, hoping that her another half can get the bottle. A man, who lived far away from the woman, picked the bottle and saw the message. Then he started to find this woman and finally they met and married.

Of course a couple will still get a piece of printed material, which is the piece of paper with the wedding details. Yet the bottle, which is the container of the piece of paper, forms the centerpiece of the wedding invitation.

An interesting application of this idea of glass bottle is linked with a beach wedding. If a couple is going to have a beach wedding, they can take the sand from the beach where they are going to have the wedding ceremony. They can put the sand, with some shells into the bottle and send the wedding invitation out. This renders a symbolic meaning that the sand or the beach is part of the witnesses for their love, and their wedding.

Another idea of glass bottle invitation is about the details of the lives of the couple. The couple can plan the wedding invitation a year before they send the wedding invitation. They can start to collect glass bottles a year before. They take the bottle after finishing a glass of red wine, or a bottle of milk everyday. After a year they will get 365 bottles.

These 365 bottles will become the container of the wedding invitation. This will be something very touching to both the couple and the guest. The bottles are not only containers of the wedding invitation but also containers of the memories and lives of the couple. The guest will be deeply impressed when they know the story of unique bottle he or she receives.

Although the idea of glass bottle is very interesting, it is not without problems. The problems are actually practical problems. A glass bottle will be quite heavy in weight when comparing with a wedding invitation card. The cost of mailing will be a lot higher than normal. This can be a smaller problem in places such as Hong Kong since couples can give the invitation to their guest by hand. This is because Hong Kong is a very small place.

Another problem is about the nature of glass. No one will question that a glass bottle is quite easy to be broken. It will be a pity if the bottle is broken when they are shipped to the guests. Both the couple and the guests will fell pity if this happens. Extra care has to be taken when the couple packs the glass bottle wedding invitation. They may need to get a lot of air bag to protect the bottles.

In order to ease the problem of broken bottles, some companies provide plastic bottles instead of glass bottles. A plastic bottle is a lot lighter than a glass bottle and it is not easy to be broken. However, there is always a trade-off between quality and convenience. The “texture” of getting a glass bottle is totally different from a plastic bottle, when the guest picks the bottle with their hands. The question of using plastic or glass bottle is left to the couple themselves.

In the past, getting married was a much simpler affair. Having to decide about whether you want a wedding ceremony and accommodation package or an intimate wedding for two just didn’t come into it. Traditionally, brides got married in their hometown. These days you can get married on board a cruise ship the choice on offer is so diverse!

Wedding packages are a great way to host your special day for family and friends and build in the feeling that you are “getting away” from it all. There are so many different types of wedding packages to choose you will probably find it really hard to choose. The majority of packages are fairly standard in price which will normally be inclusive of the wedding ceremony, reception, catering and accommodation.

Your first task is to decide on where to host your wedding. Here are some useful tips. Try and stick to your overall budget and keep in mind the affordability of the destination for your guests. You want to be able to share your special day with all of your family and friends so don’t go overboard.

At the other end of the spectrum is the intimate wedding for two. Very often a large number of venues will cater for very small parties of just two people and witnesses. Popular locations are castles, manor houses and beach settings. Large tour operators also offer intimate wedding holidays for two people if you need to try and keep costs down.

Conclusion

When it comes to getting married these days you have the world at your feet. Do your research first before you commit to anything and if at all possible network with other people who have already gone through the experience, to find a recommended service provider.

Crystal Beach Wedding Texas

Texas Wedding….?

I’m wanting to have a beach wedding. But, the only beaches in Texas that I have been to are Crystal Beach, Galveston, and Freeport and they don’t seem like the kind of places that I would want to get married but, idk. In your opinion what are the prettiest beaches in Texas. I’ve heard that S. Padre is gorgeous but it’s over 7 hrs away from where I live and I don’t really think that alot of people will want to drive that far. I live in the Bryan/College Station area. I don’t want my guests to have to drive longer than 4 hours. Also, if you know of any other really beautiful places in Texas to get married. Let me know your opinions.
Thanks!

I discovered Rockport about 5 years ago and was actually impressed with the beach and clear water. It is just north of Corpus and has great places to stay as well. Here is the link to a “beach wedding” planner there. No, I don’t work for them, I just really like Rockport! Not too far from College Station….

You want to have an outdoor wedding ceremony and reception, to use the fresh beauty of nature as the backdrop for your event, rather than some stuffy banquet room…

Perhaps you want to have more of a “simple” feel to your wedding, or maybe you want to take advantage of some spectacular local scenery. Or maybe you just think it will be great fun to have an outdoor wedding in your parent’s backyard!

Whatever the case, there are a few considerations you need to think about…

The weather!

Of course, the weather is the “biggy” for an outdoor wedding. If you live in an area that experiences inclement weather, you will definitely need to have a back-up option. This means either renting tents or having an indoor option that you could move to at the last minute.

The temperature

If your outdoor wedding will involve celebrating into the night, you will need to consider how chilly the evening air will be for your guests. If you’re worried about the temperature at your outdoor wedding, make sure to tell guests to bring a wrap or jacket. You can also rent heat lamps or even fire pits, depending on the style of your wedding.

On the other hand, if your outdoor wedding will take place during a particularly warm time of year, you may want to consider ways of keeping your guests cool. Make sure there is some sort of shade available for guests on a hot day – whether it’s from trees, tents, or umbrellas!

The ground beneath your feet!

One consideration that couples often overlook when planning an outdoor wedding is the ground. If the ground is gravelled, uneven, or moist lawn (into which high heels can sink!), women will have trouble walking in their high heels. In consideration of your guests, young and old, think about whether the ground is easily navigable in formal wear.

PLUS, if you’re setting up chairs on uneven ground or moist lawn, you’ll have to watch out for wobbly seating!

Dancing

On a similar note, you may need to consider renting a dance floor for an outdoor wedding. Uneven ground, moist lawns, or gravelly, rocky terrain are tough to dance on. Your friends and relatives – especially the elderly ones – will appreciate some attention to the dance floor!

Direction of the sun

If your outdoor wedding will include a ceremony under the noon day sun; saying your vows in the late afternoon; or champagne toasts over speeches at sunset, think for a moment about how the sun will shine on your guests. If guests need to stare into the glare of the sun to try to make out the bride & groom’s silhouettes, you may want to rethink the timing or positioning of the different elements of your event.

Bugs!

Now here’s a topic that doesn’t spring quickly to mind when you’re planning your romantic outdoor wedding in a beautiful natural setting… BUGS! All too many summer evening wedding receptions are plagued by pesky mosquitoes; some parts of the world have an even worse time of it with black flies, wasps, and other nasty critters.

So what can you do to prevent a buggy invasion on your special day? Well, dotting a few citronella candles here and there can’t hurt. Discreetly placing a bottle of bug spray behind a the centrepiece on each table isn’t a bad idea, either! Another great way to keep the bugs at bay during your outdoor wedding is to strategically place a few fans at the perimeter of your reception seating to blow those bugs away.

The unexpected

When you’re having an outdoor wedding, one thing you’ll definitely have to expect is… the unexpected!

Unexpected heat: Will your wedding cake melt in the noonday sun? Will your grandmother get heat stroke?

Unexpected noise: Will a city parade, jet plane air show, traffic jam, or neighbourhood game of kickball create unexpected noise at your event? Ask your neighbours to refrain from using their leaf blowers during your ceremony; consider dropping off event notices around the neighbourhood asking people to respect your event.

Unexpected bad weather: What will you do if the wind picks up and starts blowing everything away? What if a massive thunder and lightning storm decides to roll in just as everyone is sitting down to dinner?

When you have an outdoor wedding, you simply have to be a little more prepared than you would for an indoor event. But it can certainly be worth it! A beautiful garden, a sandy beach, the backyard of a childhood home… all of these outdoor wedding locations can be meaningful, romantic, and spectacularly beautiful.

Of course, another great option is to find a wedding venue that offers an outdoor space – plus an indoor reception area that can be used as your back-up option. Some wedding venues will even set up tents and take care of all the outdoor wedding details FOR you!

Unique Chocolate Wedding Favors That Everyone Will Love

There are many reasons why a bride might choose chocolate wedding favors for her reception. They’re typically very affordable, come in a wide variety of flavors, look beautiful and festive, and let’s face it, who doesn’t love chocolate?

But wanting to have chocolate wedding favors for your reception can leave you scratching your head as to what you should actually choose, and how chocolates can be presented at your reception in a beautiful and appropriate manner.

Choosing these favors will depend on many things, but probably your budget more than anything. There’s no limit to the amount of money you can spend on designer bonbons and truffles and other gourmet items, so it’s a good idea to have an actual budget in mind before you even begin shopping around.

You might also want to give some consideration to the theme and tone of your wedding and reception. Is it a very formal affair in an elegant banquet hall or a more casual party? If it’s formal and traditional, then typically you want chocolates that are just as elegant and indulgent. Most chocolate makers have packages that they make up just for weddings, usually a small collection of bonbons or truffles that comes in beautiful boxes. They may be decorated like little tuxedos and wedding gowns. They may be heart-shaped and hand decorated with your names or initials. Some may offer just one very exquisite or decadent chocolate in its own mini tray or foil, and be wrapped with a bit of tulle and ribbon.

Other small treats may be a few chocolates stacked on top of each other to resemble a wedding cake, again, in its own mini tray and ribbon or a small clear box. There are also chocolates in the shape of a letter which is usually in a clear plastic bag and tied with an elegant ribbon.

However, if your reception is more casual then your options can include treats such as chocolate covered pretzels in a small box. If you’re both sports loves, there are chocolates shaped like golf balls, soccer balls, bowling balls, volleyballs, baseballs, and virtually any other sporting ball you can think of.

For those who love casinos or who are planning a Vegas-themed wedding, some chocolate wedding favors are shaped like large dice or like poker chips.

For beach wedding favors, you can find chocolates in the shape of seashells. Some bakers can offer to make just plain squares of chocolate that are stamped with your name or initial.

When opting for chocolate wedding favors such as these, be sure to dress them up with a personal touch. If the box they come in is rather plain, wrap it in beautiful wrapping paper and large ribbon from either your paper supply or fabric store, in a color that matches your reception’s theme.

And of course a very affordable and unique option for chocolate wedding favors is personalized candy bar wrappers, which usually come in a wide variety of designs and styles. These can match your wedding’s tone, whether elegant and traditional or fun and whimsical, and can also provide a nice keepsake for an album or scrapbook.

As more and more chocolate makers realize the popularity and versatility of chocolate wedding favors, you may see that you as a bride have more and more options available to you when it comes time to choosing just the right chocolate favors for your reception.

Modern Weddings Are Based Upon Customization

Modern wedding planning trends are based upon “customization.” You will want to first decide upon a theme for your wedding. Consider the following 5 reception themes as a start:

• Garden Weddings
• Country Weddings
• Moroccan weddings
• Asian-Style weddings
• Beach weddings

For garden weddings you might use illustrated seed packets to mark tables, cover a table with cool green moss and decorate with small potted herbs.

Country wedding themes could include serving your guests with hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks during dessert and sending your guests home with gifts of mason jars filled with peach preserves.

Moroccan wedding themes may include filling wicker baskets with fruit pates and exotic candy. Decorate with hanging colored-glass lanterns.

Beach weddings – decorate with fish bowls filled with water and floating candles.

Other ideas for your customized wedding may include:

•Send out your invitations in picture frames
•Have a candlelit dessert reception
•Greet your guests with welcome baskets

Welcome baskets have now become a big part of the wedding weekend. Be creative. Think about what makes your town unique. Gather contents early and order containers. Label each basket with the guests’ names and them a basket in their hotel rooms.
Examples of welcome baskets might include:

•Gourmet baskets filled with wine, cheese, biscuits and a corkscrew
•A beach tote with lip balm, sunscreen, flip flops

Planning a wedding can be one of the most time-consuming and “expensive” tasks there are. One way to help you cut costs is to use easy-to-print wedding invitation kits. These kits usually contain about 25 invitations, 50 fold over note cards and coordinating envelopes and available in several different designs. The kits come with step-by-step easy to follow instructions.

Resources online are Masterpiece Studios, and refer to their etiquette guidelines and product templates to help you create invitations that have proper wording and perfect layouts. They also can provide you with matching bulletins, place cards, programs, and stationery.

The most traditional type of a wedding invitation is:

•A vertically folded sheet today measures 5 1/8″ X 7 ¼” most common, which signals a formal occasion
•The most traditional engraving style in America is English Script. Antique Roman is also very popular.

How about something not so traditional?

Especially for the Indian bride is a new way to announce wedding news online at http://iWedCards.com. This is the first interactive multimedia Indian wedding card experience. The collection features interactive invitations with vibrant designs and stunning animation even with traditional Indian music.

If family and friends live all over the globe, traditional paper cards are not always the easiest, fastest or most cost-effective way to reach those you wish to attend your wedding.

Although the iWedCards.com invitation collection is inspired by Hindu traditions, brides and grooms from any culture looking for something different, something cool, or a new and funky way to announce their upcoming marriage are encouraged to take a look at these magically entertaining cards.

Bridesmaids gifts for beach wedding?

Hi,
I have 6 bridesmaids for my October beach wedding. I have three shades of blue as my colors and two girls will wear a color. I was thinking of giving pashmina wraps as gifts since it will probably get chilly out. I was wondering what color to get since they will be in three different shades (a light pool blue, a medium tropical blue, and a deeper marine blue). I thought white at first but I think that would look too stark with all the dresses. I also thought about doing a contrasting blue (so the girls wearing light blue would get dark blue wraps) but I am not sure what to do about the medium blue dresses. Help! Maybe someone has a better suggestion for gifts or is good with colors. PS i do not want to get beach totes! Thanks!

Why not a pearl? Pearls and beaches go hand in hand, and they can wear them at the wedding. A single pearl necklace is relatively inexpensive (get a sterling chain if you want to cut costs), and timeless. http://www.asinglepearlnecklace.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/single-pearl-necklace-and-pearl-earrings.jpg

As for the blues…I’m not sure of your color theme, but creme may work better than white (it won’t be as stark). Yellow is opposite blue on the color wheel, meaning it compliments blue nicely. You could find shades of yellow or gold that work well with your other colors. Brown and tan will also go with blues, as will the right gray.

If you still want to keep the theme beachy, you can get monogrammed beach towels with your ladies’ initial (first name may be best if they’re not married, as last names are subject to change). They could be blue to match the dress.

Choosing a Wedding Date Among the Four Seasons

Choosing a wedding date depends on many factors. One way of deciding is choosing your favorite season of the year. Each season offers its own style and flavor to a wedding. The time of the year you will get married will surely affect the approach and styles you will apply in planning the wedding of your dreams. This will include selecting the ideal ceremony location, the appropriate flower arrangements and other important aspects of the wedding.

Whatever type of wedding you desire; there will definitely be a season best for you. There is always the possibility of having part of the celebration outside especially if its summer or spring. Just imagine all the moments captured in the wedding videography as you recite your wedding vows against a scenic lake or a snow covered mountain. Just remember to have an alternative plan if ever Mother Nature decides to take control.

There are numerous reasons to get married in autumn. The richest colors are often seen in the fall season. The weather is mild and crisp creating spectacular scenery. Gold and copper theme is what comes into mind during this season. Flowers are rich in colors like purples, yellow and reds. Wedding decorations have an earthy feel around it as the wedding ceremony is ornamented with autumn flowers and wreaths. The wedding decoration can also include apples and pears because these seasonal fruits are available all year round.

A winter wonderland wedding can be the ideal set up for your wedding. It creates an ambiance of romance as snow falls outside during the exchange of wedding vows. This will definitely be an indoor event either in a romantic villa or hotel. The wedding decorations can include red and golden candles with winter blooms of tulips, snowdrops and white geisha. Winter fruits that can be enjoyed are cherries and apricots. Fewer people get married during this season which allows you to get better location choices. Hotels are beautifully decorated for the season, so you will be able to save on that feature but still enjoy a joyful affair. Traditionally, families gather during the holiday which is another benefit in planning your wedding at this time.

June is considered the best month to marry. One reason for this is that this is the first month of predictable good weather. Roses are usually in full bloom during this month. The summer months also mean the sun and the sea. During this time, beach themed weddings are popular. There are many available beach resorts that can make your dream Beach Wedding Ceremony a reality. But getting married in summer can pose a lot of challenges too. Wedding locations and vendors are usually in high demand during these months. It is a good idea to plan every detail and book wedding services ahead of time.

Spring is the time for birth and renewal. This season will provide you with beautiful gardens, abundant with different kinds of roses and blooms. Fruits available for this time of year are peaches and passion fruits. Pastels colors will work best for the whole wedding entourage. Pick colors like lilacs, baby blues, blushing pinkand sandy gold. These magnificent colors of spring will surely be captured in your wedding videography.

Choosing a wedding date on a particular time of the year can definitely set the atmosphere for your wedding whether it may be a winter wonderland or a beach wedding. Just remember that whatever season you choose, it really does not matter as long as you and your fiancé are able to enjoy your special day together.

Disney World Resort Parks in Florida: A Magical Family Vacation

Disney World Resort is a great family adventure in Orlando, Florida. It is the largest leisure resort in the world with four theme parks. It is a great way to maximize a family vacation along with magical experiences.

Disney World Resort is located in Orlando, Florida in a 30,000 acre land. It is the principal city of Greorlandoater and the county seat of Orange County. The resort is a perfect vacation spot for the family.

Disney World Resort is divided into four theme parks such as the The Magic Kingdom, Disney MGM Studios, Epcot and Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

The Magic Kingdom is the first park that was built at the resort. It was opened on October 1, 1971. There were 17 million visitors counted in 2007 making it as the most visited theme park. The park was designed by WED Enterprises similar to Disneyland Park in California. It is the only park in Disney World Resort that has 2 hotels inside, the Disney Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Polynesian Resort.

Families can also experience a replica of a real studio at Disney Hollywood Studios. It is another theme park represented by a sorcerer’s hat. It lies on a 135 acres land size which showcases a theme of the drawing inspiration from Hollywood heyday in 1930′s and 1940′s. It was opened on May 1, 1989 with approximately 9.51 million guests, ranking it as the fourth-most visited park in US.

The Magic Kingdom consists of six themed areas just like in a real motion picture studio. Attractions include the Echo Lake, Animation Courtyard, Pixar, Streets of America and Sunset Boulevard. Other places to see are the Great Movie Ride, The American Idol Experience and the A.T.A.S. Hall of Fame Plaza.

Another theme park in Walt Disney World Resort is Epcot. It is dedicated to the technological innovation and international culture. The park was opened on October 1, 1982. Epcot hosted about 10.93 million visitors making it as third most-visited in US and sixth in the world. It was also named as EPCOT Center in 1994. Epcot contains tunnels underneath the buildings that include the Electric Umbrella, Innovations East, Innovations West, Mousegear, Club Cool and the Fountain View Ice Cream.

Families can stroll at the grassy landscape of Epcot. It also has lots of waters and trees. Epcot has two sections namely the Future World and the World Showcase. The Future World consists of many pavilions showcasing the innovative aspects of application technology. Thus, Worlds Showcase contains pavilions that represent the eleven countries. It contains representative restaurants and shops staffed by the countries citizens. World Showcase also has a 1.2 miles man-made lagoon.

Epcot also hosted a number of special events. People can participate with the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival, The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival and the Holidays around the World.
Most kids love to visit the fourth theme park, the Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Over 9.49 million guests visited the place ranking it as the fifth-most visited in US and eight in the world. It was themed for the animal conservation with seven themed areas. Good restaurants on the beach in Orange County or Long Beach?

What are some good restaurants on the beach in Orange County?

I want a beach wedding, but you can’t drink on any southern California beaches legally, so we are looking to have it at a restaurant on the beach. Our wedding will be no bigger than 70 people total. Any suggestions? :-)

McKenna’s on the bay – on Alamitos Bay; not the beach
